What's New:
- We are the stage in the project where we're gearing up for the next step. Without delving into boring technical details, part of these changes involve the delivery method of Mote and the outcome of the Mote-X project; not so much on the client side, but on the servers side where Sandstorm will eventually be. This helps a small team like ours a lot with administration, and repetitive work during builds.
The upside on the user's end is that we can finally enable a feature we've kept dormant since the start of open beta: Automatic updating. Users will have the convenience of having the latest version of Mote, without the need to navigate to the home page (You will be missed! LoL). An active connection to the Internet, is required, of course.
From this point on, updating Mote will be a fraction of what it currently is. This keeps in line with one of our founding principles for this project which is: "Providing convenience, large or small, when no one else would, when no one else will." - Amended token.getWidth and token.getHeight to return a token's width or height, based on its bounds within the map. The original functionalities of these functions, which return the width and height of a token's source image, are moved to the new functions token.getOriginalWidth, and token.getOriginalHeight. We used the source image's dimensions for internal calculations, but apparently, users were working with values based on map-based bounds. This modification is a compromise.
The Wiki has been updated as well. - Continued writing functionality for the added token types.
- Addressed mailed in issues, forum posts, and threads on Groups.
