Mote Changelog 1.5.4

11/4/2015

Expanded on filters for the Token bar. The following letters signify what's active:
  • A - all owned, or all tokens and stamps for GMs.
  • P - PC
  • N - NPC
  • H - Tokens on the Hidden Layer
  • O - Object stamps
  • B - Background stamps
  • L - Light sources
A lot of frameworks were impacted by our addition to the token types. We've placed a manually activated action under the Map menu to fix token types based on what layer they are on. This fix is applied campaign-wide, so exercise caution, as z-values will be automatically adjusted during the correction.

It is advised to perform this operation out of a hosted session; depending on the size of your framework, it will cause a lot of traffic due to the correction of each and every token.

Lastly. this has been in Mote for a long time, but only recently brought close to "perfection". Tokens can be referred, and/or updated, from anywhere, without needing to go into the map they are on. Using the GUID will ensure that the correct token is referenced, because if a name is used, and there is more than one token that shares that name, the resolution order would be: current map, then first encountered instance, which could lead to unexpected results.
